Qigong (Chi Kung)
Nov. 26th, 2007 03:55 pmThe mention of this has come up in my life several times this past week, so I thought I'd give it more attention (including an entry in my journal).
I do a simple Chi Kung "workout" every morning this past month or two, and I found it to be very very helpful. It's not physically demanding at all, and it makes a great warmup for a cardio workout. It's like a cross between mediation and yoga I guess.
The workout I do is on VHS and it's this one: http://www.amazon.com/Living-Tao-M-Chi-Beginners/dp/0945671024/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=video&qid=1196114422&sr=1-2
(I want to get the PM version and more advanced at some point, but this one is working good right now)
