I am a middle-aged woman who, thanks to the financial support of her husband, is able to explore what is might be most important in life. I spent years on the Hamster Wheel not living only Hamster Wheeling. Even after finally getting off for good it took me well over a year to start healing. I'm solidly on my way and noticing the improvements in my soul (and body).

Setting up this journal is one of those steps. I used to journal regularly, and I even go back to my old journal a lot when I need to reference things. I'm hoping to bring my old (LJ) here and then move on in this new place.
