EDIT:  EMERGENCY OVER - MEDIA BACK  seems it was fully extended in restore mode and pushed ALLLL the way over to the right.  Don't know how that happened, but I'm glad I have it back.

Tearing my hair out.
Windows Media player is hidden and I can't make it come up.
The bar is in the bottom toolbar, but when I click on it looks like it's jetting to the right side of the monitor out of sight.
It is working because when I click a music file it plays - I just can't see where it is.
I've tried everything!
Argh!

Have you gone to start-all programs- Windows media player and tried to get it to shut it down so you can start over?

Yes, I can right-click the tab on the bottom toolbar and close the program. It does the same thing when I open it back up. I was able to minimize it to the toolbar so at least it shows play/rew/ff/stop/vol but when I click restore it disappears into space again. So weird.

We get things like that sometimes. Then it goes away; good luck on that.

When you switch to full screen, the Player controls may appear for a short period of time (depending on the capabilities of your video card and the functionality of the video, visualization, or DVD that you are watching). To restore the controls after they disappear, move the mouse or press any key. To prevent the full-screen controls from disappearing, click the Always show full-screen controls button.

I kept clicking/pulling where I thought it went (left side of the monitor just past the wallpaper. Finally I grabbed hold of the edge and pulled it over - I wanted to cheer!. Very strange - don't know how it got that way. Looks like it was in restore mode but fully maxed. When I switched it to full screen mode it was fine. I restored it and resized it so hopefully it won't do that again.

Thanks for the Help!
