The divorce rate in the United States has fallen by 13 percent since 2000.
     I wonder if part of that is that people can't afford to get married in the first place.... ;-)

The average credit card debt is under $5,000 for the first time since 2002.
     Mine is just under this, and I'm actively chipping away at it.

Scientists have discovered that gorillas play tag.
     This I would like to see.

I got rid of my credit cards completely a couple years ago and haven't looked back. The Boy has one solely for auto paying our bills (and he pays it off every month) so that we get points for travel & free hotels but thats all we use it for. My friends may think I'm nuts, but if I don't have the money in my hand to buy something, I don't need it.

It makes me sad to know some of my friends have multiple credit cards and they max them out. Scary.
