I have Ipod

It's way cooler than I ever expected!!

I understand how it works, but I'm having a little trouble with up and down - maybe I just need practice..... hope the player isn't faulty.

A little disappointed that it came with so little documentation.  It's a refurbished one, but I did pay over $100 - and it did come from the factory.  I'm sure there are online tutorials.

I watched a pilates video podcast..... I'm hooked - - so sad, truly Television is now pretty much a thing of the past.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I join you and Brotherskeeper1 in the ownership and use of one of these things!

Enjoy :)

I resisted for a long time. It was one of my LJ friends who introduced me to the idea of podcasts that did it. I'm overly frugal, so paying over $100 for something I won't get a lot of use out of was not an option. This thing can replace TV. You can even download CNN Podcasts - it's amazing. I watched a Pilates workshop last night that I downloaded from the Bend Oregon Pilates center.

Pilates!

I have an interest in that. I hope to get into it a bit one day :)

Even the new ones come without documentation - that is frustrating.

I'm hanging onto my ancient Shuffle. My son has the big IPod and my husband the Nano (I hope to inherit when he moves up!)

There are free Podcasts everywhere! Have fun!

Nothing comes with instruction anymore! It's so frustrating.

Good for you that you just got one! How awesome to be able to do all those things... You seem to have a savvy for techy things and will figure it out, I'm sure!

I spent alot on a digital recorder some time back in hopes it would allow me to make CD's for my clients instead of tapes and never really learned how to use it right consistently and have felt very guilty about one more 'thing' I bought and not really used! And the documentation was not great.. or I didn't get it anyway.. I don't LIKE reading manuals, I admit... Maybe I'll re-sell it at a flea market! hahahaha oh well...

There is probably online tutorials written by owners to help. I found several (some even video) for the Ipod. Now I know exactly what I'm doing. If you tell me what it is - make - brand - I can look for you if you want.

That is such a nice offer! I actually think I know what I need to and no amount of training or suggestions will make the difference. I'm just technically impaired :)

Not sure about the Ipod, but I know the up/down on other ones can be tricky.
