No Self Control Whatsoever

I stopped by Walmart on my way home from work to pick up masking tape and liners for the paint roller tray.

I banned myself from the fabric department, but I couldn't resist

8 yards of the dark green and 4 yards of the lighter (at $1.00 a yard)


Then, since I've already sinned, I bought a pattern too.

A dollar a yard is a fantastic deal. Not sinning - but recognizing a good value when presented with one!

I like the pattern. I wear princess-lined dresses a lot. Hey I just noticed - it has a purse pattern too. Cool.

I keep buying fabric, but I never get around to the actual sewing part. That's why I ban myself from that department. I'm putting the garden to bed for the rest of the summer, and I'll be doing more inside - so I will get some sewing done.

mostly clothes. I used to make all y clothing until the kids came along- then didn't have time to do it any more. Plus, fabric became so expensive it was more economical to buy them.

I'm a little eccentric (neurotic?) about it. I'll stalk the area then quickly glance as I pass by the $1/yd section (not stopping since that would be breaking my rule). Occasionally I get sucked in by something irrisistable and I hate myself for a day or two later.
