America (the band....not the country)

I recently downloaded the America anthology, and I haven't been able to stop listening.  
These are samples of my all my favorites from them which I have on my iPod. 
I don't know how this music affects other people, but I have an emotional connection - probably due to memories they conjure up :-)

Step Funk

I've been putting together step workouts for my iPOD by downloading random tracks using my pepsi points.  I really wanted funk selections to shuffle, but none of those songs could be had for points.  So, I went to Imeem and made a playlist.  I can't use my ipod, but my pc is where I workout - and my pc sound system doesn't suck too bad.  Here it is:
