Seriously -
it would have been worth it to have a plumber come in and install a new toilet for the aggravation and anxiety this caused me. 

Though I would have missed out on an empowering experience I guess. 

Now I'll be watching it for the next week being sure it doesn't leak or overflow.

Good job. Do you have one of those do it yourself books to guide you through? I have found that they give great tips that the directions never give.

Ha, i know exactly what you mean. Even after i complete some plumbing project it's like.."alright when i get home, will there be a geyser where my house is supposed to be?"
