Did you want to friend me, or has Sahlah just suggested it?
Anyway, I have friended you, though will not be very talkative for a couple of weeks or so. I hope you're happy to be friended :)
I used to live in a slightly self-sufficient mode, but am studying right now, so not much of that going on :( A friend once accidentally said self-deficient, and it has stuck in my head ever since! I hope you don't mind my off-beat humour :)
I can dream while I read your posts, though, right?
I used to have chooks, in fact I love chooks and it is an ambition of mine to have them again. I also used to have goats.
Anyway, back to assignments, and I look forward to your being 'around' :)
I love having friends who are interested in self-suffiency and nature pursuits - I don't have any in real life (though I am working on it - this coming Saturday I'm going to a meeting of pet chicken keepers in my area!) :-)
We have a lot of goats here in this part of Texas. I've considered keeping some, but my neighbors have discouraged me. They say they are escape artists. They are sure fun to watch though.
I am looking forward to reading your posts. Maybe you'll inspire me to get back to school and get a degree (college dropout) :-)
