Mother's Day talk

My mother and I were having a Mother's Day conversation on the phone - it turned to politics.  She mentioned how it looks like Obama will get the nomination.  My mom isn't thrilled with Obama - but I think she prefers him to the alternative.  We chat about it a little and when she gets tired of talking politics she says. "Well, at least he can't do too much damage since there's the senate and congress to create checks & balances"  Hehehehe  Yep, they sure kept things on the straight and narrow for the last eight years, they did :-)
