If you don't have preditory animals around they are big enough to live out side because the weather is now more stable. But they do need a roosting coop.
Our chickens on the farm ran loose and would build nests in places they could hide until they decided to roost in the trees after their babies got big. A few of them even liked sleeping in the dog house.
The coop should be finished by this weekend. Having a little trouble with the fencing (gateway). I wish I could let them run free like they do on farms. There's just too many blood thirsty dogs and birds of prey here. Do cats attack chickens?
Thank you! I do the recordings for my companies automated system - when they asked me to do it I was taken aback because I didn't want to be ms. robot voice - but it wasn't so bad afterall.
