A little bit of decorating.  Looking at the picture I realize how redneck I've become.

I bought more than this, but this was my first baking ingredient shopping trip.  Just getting all that stuff in my house made me feel jolly.

Here is a picture of Sahlah's Brown Sugar Cooke dough just before going into the oven.  I took a pic of the finished cookie, but I couldn't find it on my camera later - Bah!

Here is a pic of the Brittle I ruined.  It was a gooey sticky mess, and I didn't have a clue what to do next.

So - I pulled of gobs and rolled them into balls, dipped them in chocolate, covered them with chopped nuts, and called it candy.

Here are the bags of Christmas cheer I will be giving out to deserving work peers and supervisors (lucky dogs) :-)

I found myself not at all in the holiday spirit this year, so I decided to start some routine holiday chores.  This helped me very much.  So, if you are feeling like Scrooge - definately go and burn some brittle to cheer yourself up.

I love that you altered those cookies! Far out.

Now all you need for exterior decoration is the addition of a rotating colored spot light on each tree. Then they can sometimes be red or green...

I have icicle lights which look great on my house because it has that tall pointed rafter looking thingie on the front. When the lights are on it looks like a gingerbread house. It's way to high for me to climb solo without a spotter. If I feel, I might not get found until I started to smell (kind of feeling sorry for myself - but mostly just stating a fact...hahaha).
