I just did the www.votehelp.org questionnaire.  Great site.  It was no surprise that my top 5 candidates were democrats.

I was a little surprised that Hillary Clinton was #1.  The things we did not agree on were not an that much of an issue or issues I didn't really know a great deal about.

Barak Obama was #2

Dennis Kucinich was #4, and I "like" him the best (no, it's not because he's a vegetarian...) :-)

I"m so hoping we don't get another block head this time around.  Seriously.

Nearly all my lj friends are women; some right of center, most to the left. Yet nearly all are opposed to Hillary. I'm not suggesting that if you are a woman you have to support Hillary. But it seems almost the opposite.

My mother, is a dyed in the wool Democrat; yet i know she doesn't want to have to vote for the woman.

We need Dennis in there bringing up points no one else will touch.

My general dislike for Hillary is irrational. Maybe it's that she's too much of a "politician" for me. She doesn't come across as truly sincere, empathetic, warm.... I'm not sure how to describe it. My gut (which could very well be wrong) tells me she's not "for the people" (people being the working class average joe). That's why I was a little taken aback when I saw I agreed so much with her.

This doesn't mean I won't vote for her; if she won the democratic nomination I'd vote for her over a republican. There are plenty of republican candidates I like as human beings, but their platform I cannot swallow. I love John McCain, but I don't think he would be a good leader for our country at this time.

NO MATTER WHO WE GET THE downfall slide will continue. True historians agree that they keep getting worse as the years pass. American politics are worse now than they were 50 years ago and even more so than 100 years ago. No country had come to the point of American politics and ever survived. All have fallen and so will our country because of the corruption of our politicians...be they democrats or republicans or whoever.

Hillary is nothing more than a whore. If you put her on a street corner with a sign it would read: WILL FUCK FOR POWER!

Have a good day.

I believe the fault is with our country in general - not the politicians. People choose government - and choose to support it once elected. I do agree that we are on a downward path as a country though.

It will be interesting to see what comes of it (if it happens in my lifetime). This is part of nature - life is impermanent (that includes governments).

Your hostility towards Hillary is interesting. I wonder where that comes from.

Although I don't accept all in the bible I do believe she is the bitch whore of Babylon spoken about in Revelation.

And she is the worst of them all.

Have a good day.
