Mutant Pecan Brittle

Sunday I made microwave Pecan Brittle.  I liked it so much I made the next a triple batch.  Because I didn't lengthen the cooking times enough it turned out like something from "The Fly".  

It tasted good though (but it was hard to get it out of my teeth).

I don't like Brittles at all which is weird because I love caramel...just not petrified caramel. :D

Pecan brittle sounds wonderful. Peanut brittle is the norm in this area.

You know how Jeff Goldblum came out of the transport pod all sticky, mangled, and gross looking? That's what the brittle came out like. Almost like Taffy's ugly brother.

Pecan brittle..mmmm..yum. I have a really good recipe for surprise brittle. You can make it in just a few minutes and everyone is surprised when you tell them what's in it...der /snort. Seriously, tis good! I should post the recipe :D
