I found out about a nice bonus to my Blockbuster Total Access plan.  I get 1 free coupon to rent a movie from a Blockbuster store per month.  Very cool.

I've currently got 181 movies in my Blockbuster Total Access online Queue. This is primarily documentaries and special interest dvds with a few TV series and a few movies I haven't seen yet thrown in. With the one out at a time plan that I currently have (approx 10 movies per month I'm guessing) - I estimate what I currently have 18 months of service already spoken for even if I never added another title to my queue.

I'm leaning towards canceling my Hollywood account and upgrading the Blockbuster to 3 out plan (which would be $3.00 cheaper than keeping both current plans).  With the 3 out plan I can also get 5 instore exchanges vs. the 2 I get now.

I love documentaries - I found dozens I can't wait to watch!

I recently finished the season 2 of Rome I'd rented from Hollywood.  It went by way too fast (only 6 episodes).

Funny, i've been reading your adventures with Blockbuster. Usually we go to the library to find a movie, it's cheap but the selection is never the latest. That said, we were thrilled years ago when Hollywood invaded the area. Blockbuster had put most of the independent video dealers out of business, but we felt Blockbuster was expensive and didn't have that much variety.

Then came Hollywood with bigger stores the the Blockbusters in the area. Then Blockbuster bought Hollywood, not long after a new Blockbuster was built across the street from the closest Hollywood and they compete against each other.

Anyway post time to time what documentries or other movies you are watching.

I watched Rome on HBO when it came out, I thought for the most part it was excellent. The final episode was a bit anticlimactic IMO,but all in all excellent series.

How did you like Rome? I'm thinking about putting it on my Netflix list.

I'm not sure how close to history it stays, but the characters are really lively, and it's not cheaply made (feels like your watching a movie). I'm sure therre is going to be at least a season 3 because season 2 ended without much being resolved. There are two episodes on each disk - and each season is three DVD's.
