Here is Roo with his crazy tail feather.  Shortly after this was taken one of the hens bit it off!!  
 

Here are a few of the hens cooling off in the baby pool.  This is also where the wasps and butterflies stop to get a drink and the neighborhood birds take a bath.  Someday I'd like to make a small pond since it's almost practical where we live.


Here is a picture of the baby.  She's about 3 1/2 month old now.  Time flies.  It's hard to grap a pic of her since she's always in motion.  Here she's having a siesta in the blackberry patch.

It's unusual for a rooster to have so few tail feathers. I guess it's the breed or something. But the girls biting it off really take the cake!

The pond idea sounds good - it looks like all the wild life plus the chooks love it.

You new little one is so pretty - in fact, they're all pretty!
