Today is one week of taking Lexapro.

3rd through 5th day slight nausea and headaches which are clearing up.

NOT SURE IF THE STUFF BELOW CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO THE MEDICATION:

Last two nights had some interesting dreams. Not nightmares - just crazy.  Last night I dreamed I was driving a vehicle and towing behind me an airplane trying to navigate the turns without clipping the wings on stop signs and parked cars..... :-)

Today at work I totally forgot my userID for logging into my computer.

Yesterday Sierra woke up to tell me I needed to figure out transportation for her to and from work (it was almost 9am - she needed to be at work at 11am) - then half hour later she told me her clean work shirt was in her car (which is in the shop) so I had to quickly wash and dry her dirty shirt before leaving at 10:15.  This normally would have thrown me into a total frenzy - but I was like "okay....how do I make this happen" .  (again, don't know if it's the medication - It could be I was just having a REALLY CALM morning) :-)

The benefits aren't really supposed to kick in untl the 2nd week depending on the person - sometimes up to 4 weeks (or in as little as one week)

I am happy to report that I don't feel numb or psycho (whew)

I'm a little concerned about how many people report weight gain - that's something I can't really afford.

OT and so none of my business, but if Sierra is old enough to have a job, she is old enough to wash her own damn shirt.

I just staryed week 2 of taking Lexipro again ...It has been about 3 years since I took it last. I have been taking at night so I sleep when it hits the system.

I have been watching the scale and for me it has been down but I also went back to basic in eating the last two weeks.

I'm glad the Lexapro isn't causing any major dramas :) And the commenters below seem to have a handle on the weight gain thing.

I hope you continue to feel better. But I'm surprised the Doctor doesn't have some one monitoring your moods. Keeping track of your progress is an excellent idea.
