What kind of books do you read?
I want to read philosophy/spirtuality books (ie Alan Watts, Dalai Lama, etc.) and meaningful classics; however, I never seem to get to it. I'd like to change this situation, but I don't know how.
What's the weirdest thing you've seen today?
The miniature donkey on my street turned up his lip at me when I strode by on my morning walk (cheeky thing)

Cookies..... unless it's cheesecake (then cheesecake provided it's the baked 1 pound per slice type - not the creamy pie type)

Date: 2010-03-09 12:13 am (UTC)Our first hurdle over - I'm moving down there.
Now we have to fix my house up enough to attract a quality renter (ie someone who will pay each month and not move out after only a few months).
The rest is logistics. Getting my daughter settled into a situation she's comfortable with; giving my job notice, moving, finding a job down south, etc.
It's a little complicated since our medical/dental benefits come from my current job, so are affordable. Paying for them on our own would be very (very) expensive. That fact and the housing situation are the two biggest challenges.
We stay connected when we're apart. I just long to live with him full-time.
