Update (and mp3 request for music collectors)

*  Last night Marcel and I took Sierra out to dinner at Bucca di Beppo in Austin.  We stopped off at the Barton Creek Mall on the way so Sierra could use her birthday coupon to get something at Torrid (I love their underwear!).  While there I managed to lose my wallet, but I didn't notice it gone until we were well on our way to the restaurant.  On the way to the restaurant we got lost - and ended up an hour late their.  On the way Sierra was able to contact the mall and learn someone had turned in my wallet (knocking on wood because I've always been VERY lucky to have honest people turn my lost items in).  We got lost on the way back to the mall after dinner - and made it there by the skin of our teeth to get my wallet.  Whew!  a little stressful.  Marcel was very patient all night - even after multiple stops on the way home because Sierra was sick to her stomach. 

*  Does anyone have a copy of THE PEREZ FAMILY Soundtrack?  I'm unable to find it digital at either Amazon or iTunes.

*  Tomorrow I leave for the south.  I was able to luck out and get Monday off too (I was able to get Tuesday off - so getting monday was a total bonus).  I will get to be with Marcel from Friday evening until Thursday morning - FIVE DAYS to hang out with my husband - yay!

*  Still fighting with the damn water company.  I sent a letter to their corporate office as well as emails to every corporate rep I could find.  We'll see if anyone bothers to respond.

*  I'm trying to come up with some ideas to make extra income without having a commit to a part-time job.  I think I'd like to sell some home made things in various venues (farmers market, swap meet, etsy, etc. etc.).  Some of the things I've thought of are Tempeh, Blackberry leaf tea, bath salts, catnip kitty mats, herb/veggie seedlings, cookies/candy.  My current pay just isn't cutting the mustard, and I do want to move towards my own business - this would be a way to get some hands on experience.

There is a farmers market that is open on Saturdays if you want to load up the truck and to that. I don't think you have to pay for the spot you use. Everyone sells their stuff from their trucks. The place always has a crowd of people showing up. Being the way government is I am not sure if you need a license to sell stuff.

I work Tuesdays and Saturdays. I've been considering requesting to work on Sundays instead - I may even know someone who might switch with me if the company agrees. Only downside with that is I lose my 1 1/2 day off that working 1/2 day saturdays gives me (get off work 12:30 Saturday and don't have to be back until 11:30am Monday. That and most holidays fall on Monday - so Having my current schedule gives me almost a mini vacation :-)
