dalthauserIcing is White & Milk chocolate Ganache whipped with marshmallow creme
Trim and filling is Espresso Dark Chocolate Ganache
Three Layers
Cake is Dutch Chocolate
*I scrapped the chocolate lavender cake idea since he didn't eat any of those flavored chocolates I made.
The presentation is still pretty amateurish - but I'm pretty sure it's "broke da mouth" good.
(can't wait to test my theory)
You know the Ganache that Truffles are made out of?
That's what is filling this cake and piped on the borders!

and my gift - I had fun cutting out all the tissue hearts at work (and even more fun pasting the flimsy suckers to the package.....) :-)
(the gift is two issues of Art Culinaire - issue #60 and #38)
