Compelling Article on the benefits of soaking in an Epsom Salt Bath

You can also google Epsom Salts and find a long list of uses for it.  My favorite way to use it is water my tomatoes with an ES solution to prevent blossom end rot.

OHhhh nice! Great benefits - never thought of it that way.

My favorite use is the best detox bath I ever had - a hot bath with ginger and epsom salt. MMmmmmm.... I know what I'll be doing one night next week....

For a while I was also using the bath water to water the garden - the water hauling wasn't as messy as I thought it would be.

I would love to set up a grey water system for the tub and sink. I use all bio-degradable soap there. I'm still using the "bad stuff" in the washer though - so I can't send that to the yard.

Ginger bath sounds awesome. Do you use fresh ginger or an essential oil?

Fresh ginger - about 1/3 of a cup freshly grated. Next time, I plan to put it in a cheesecloth bag, though; it wasn't fun to clean up.

I don't know how to tell if my soap is biodegradable - most of it is hand/home made, then sometimes I use Dr. Bronners.

I'm still looking for a good shampoo - thinking of trying Burts Bees. Avalon didn't so so well with me. It made the back of my hair stiff. Strange.
