That was a very informative post by dydan - and all the comments. Because we have free health care for low income earners (if a bit lacking at times) I really do not have much of an idea what people go through over there. Well, I hear stories from time to time. Medicare for everybody sounds like a good option. I guess everybody needs to know how much they will be paying and for what. I was seriously dismayed when they started charging over and above what Medicare or whoever you were with paid. If you pay insurance it should cover everything (except facelifts etc) and no-one should be allowed to be dropped. Insurance companies - my pet hate.
