Accident

Today, on my way to work, someone rear ended me at a red light.  The driver was upset at why I didn't just go through the red light.  I was amazed at how calm I stayed when being faced with someone clearly hysterical.  I had to keep repeating - "ma'am, the light was red".  Anyway, she had typical hood damage, but my truck had zero.  I let her stalk off without exchanging insurance information since it would go bad for her if it was reported.  I hope that doesn't end up being a bad decision. 

Hope she eventually calms down - I thought she was going to burst an artery.  Also hope she stops driving like a raging bull.

As long as your not injured by the jarring of the truck I am happy.

I can't believe how some of these morons are thinking that because they drive dangerous you/we should as well.

I am glad you had no damage to the truck. Sadly with her mental damage I doubt she will learn a lesson from what happened.

Do you think the damage to her car was enough to hurt her pocket book or the damage can be overlooked?

Well, if she wants her car to be perfect - she will need to fix the dimple in the hood, but it's not so bad otherwise.

Thanks - no, I only felt a slight "tap" behind me. There really wasn't much impact, but you know how car hoods are - hers got a dimple in it.

As long as you are not hurt and have no damage to your truck it won't matter, but normally you should exchange insurance info also call the police for a police report too.

Maybe she doesn't have insurance?

Sure glad you're ok.. some people just really get so worked up.. It's really not good for them but it's hard for them to not do it... sorry you had to be the brunt of her rage..! Glad you're alright and remaining calm..!

According to some reports - with the red light cameras, they are seeing more or this type of accident. A little ironic.
