I watched it the other night, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I found parts of it funny but also parts more than a tiny bit offensive.

It's almost as though Sacha Cohen went over the line on purpose.

I walked out feeling dirty and avoided making eye contact with other movie-goers (most of whom walked out looking a little shell-shocked).

This is a movie - if seen at all - should be viewed at home on DVD.

That is how we watched BORAT on DVD.
I'm not sure I want to see Bruno, and probably will wait till the DVD.
I heard the movie Hangover is very funny. Trouble is I usually wait for all of the movies to go on DVD.

Borat was hilarious - it was just right in terms of comedy and bawdiness.

I usually only watch high action and/or special effects movies at the theater - there was nothing like that on, and this was the only movie my daughter and I could agree on. :-)

Hangover is hilarious, and not nearly as crude as I had feared.

That's what Cohen does. Over the line. Over the top. However you want to put it. And I'm quite sure he does it on purpose.

Never saw Borat and I probably won't see Bruno either.

Guess I formed my opinions early on him. Didn't like hime when he was doing Da Ali G show on HBO either.

I thought Borat was funny, if a bit cringe-inducing. I wasn't offended, but I don't care for cringe humor. I am imagining Bruno is quite the same.
I have to wonder how many crazy guy character movies we are going to get from this guy. I am thinking it will get old quick.
I have heard Hangover is hilarious, but I am waiting for DVD, as with most movies.

Definitely when on DVD and with full permission to turn it off if it totally grosses me out... which he can certainly do well ;/ aargh...!

I found Borat funny - but thanks for the warning on Bruno.

I thought you were going to see Harry Potter.

Harry Potter came out that night at midnight. I was going to see it this weekend, but I'm working overtime. Maybe next weekend - I'm sure it will be in theaters for a few weeks :-)

Thanks for the review. I think I'll pass. I didn't see his first movie either - just not my style.
