Saturday Update

I worked over-time again this Saturday.  My paycheck will be a little bigger - the better to pay what I had to put on my CC this last month with.

Marcel is swamped in the restaurant.  I wish I could help him.  His place is #1 in Port Aransas on TripAdvisor.com!  I hope it sells this time around; the man needs a long vacation.

I am now harvesting figs around the clock.  I have a fridge full.  Tomorrow, hopefully, I will make fig jam.  If I do - I will post pics :-)

It's hotter than hell here - we need rain (or at the very least a breeze).  This weather is totally abnormal for this time of year. 

Tomorrow is "work around the house" day.  I might post pics - maybe a video.

I have had enough of the heat this whole week. I am really surprised since it's been mild weather this Spring.

If I were not so busy I would come down there for some figs.

This week I have school, work and a side project on a laptop.

OMG! Fig preserves is one of my all time dreams to make... and eat! How's 'bout you remember me, make a few extra and I'll trade you some soap or lip balms or whatever!?

We got some soothing rain today.. I am relishing the cool 56 degrees this morning! Garden is happy...! Hope it's moving your way!!!

Cool! I'm not worried for a second.. with figs as the main ingredient and you with the chef hat, it will be awesome! I have only eaten the fig preserves from St. Dalfour once and I swooned.. and I'm not sure they even use sugar (from Natural Grocers) I'll be in heaven!
