* My Yogurt Making fling is going well.  I made and strained a batch of Greek Yogurt - very nice.  Last night's yogurt did not turn out as expected. I'm wondering if it was he quart containers.  It's too liquid, but it tastes good.... I say smoothies!.

* A workmate turned me on to a source for local raw milk.  It's a small family dairy fairly close by.  Unfortunately it's not organic, but if you read their website - they are doing all the right things (and have the right mindset).  Strykly Dairy  You join a "club" and order your milk to be delivered to a single point.  They also have cream, buttermilk, and cheese.  Oh boy!

* I see #1 Husband tonight - in a little less than 10 hours.  Looking forward to having him in close proximity.

* Veggie garden is going well.  I did lose half my squash to borers which was disappointing.  Peppers, 'maters, cukes, are going like gang busters, and I have some Malabar spinach growing volunteer (chickens will like).  Already planning for the fall (and planning a Square Foot garden to intall at the house down south)

*  I got my new Social Security card and (more importantly) Debit Card with my new name on them in the mail yesterday.

*  Money has been really tight lately - I wonder if it's the economy or just that I've been spending too much where I shouldn't .  Need to buckle down because I can see it getting out of control.  Time to go into frugal mode.

* Nothing else much new - chugging along - happy as a clam :-)

Yes, raw milk could carry disease. A dairy has to get a special certification to sell raw milk - and the state inspects more frequently.
