59 to 66 in 30 minutes
Dec. 16th, 2008 09:11 amThe alarm went off this morning, and I peeked out from under the covers to see the bedroom heater reading 59F.
Noooooooo!!!!!!
Second thought: Why didn't I set up the coffee maker in the bedroom last night?
Thank goodness I was smart enough to wear actual pajamas and socks to bed.
Third thought: There will be no walk this morning, so how will I wake up and warm up?
Rummaged through my entertainment cabinet and pulled out my workout DVD's - put on Reebok Step Workout (does anybody remember that - Gin Miller & the African Drums in the MTV-like setting? - still my favorite if I have to exercise inside).
Worked out with the sound off and my iPod on until the first pulse check (30 minutes) - the temperature on the heater was at 66F (wow, guess I'm hot huh??) ;-)
Only downside is after I had to take a shower (and then get out of the shower.....Nooooo!!!!!)
