My daughter is snake-sitting her friends' Boa Constrictor.  Yesterday she stopped at the pet store and bought a live mouse to feed it.  Apparently the pet stores have "feeder mice".  I was traumatized by the whole idea of it.  Not because a Boa eats live food - that's natural.  What bothered me is keeping a Boa as a pet and feeding it live food.  Naturally this is quite hypocritical I know since my cat eats meat based food - and animals have to die to make that happen.  Still.

Why does my Office spellchecker tag the spelling of "didn't" .....

Last night I went to bed early 9pm, so I could get up super early and get started in the garden and raking leaves - as well as a host of other projects I didn't do Saturday (because I opted to go after Xmas shopping instead).  I did wake up extra early - to the crack of thunder and a torrential downpour of frozen ice.  I bolted out of bed and out to the truck to roll the window up.  Okay, I was fully awake and figuring it' will be a housework kinda day.

My washer is squeaking, I wonder what that means (I'm pretty sure Sierra didn't leave any mice in her pockets)

Back when I was a vegetarian, I kept a snake for a short time. I had a lot of trouble with feeding it live food. Eventually I settled on feeding it feeder fish instead of baby mice.

The cats are a lot less problematic, their food doesn't move.
