Computer Woes

I think my computer is gasping for its last breaths.  It's freezing up regularly now.  Usually when I'm playing a video or am on iTunes, but today - when I was posting a reply on LJ. 

Might be the video card, but I can't put another cent into this old baby.  I bought it in early 2002. 

I just backed up all my mp3 files to a CD just in case it decides to crash altogether. 

Once I get Sierra into a vehicle and into a job - I'll start shopping for a new computer.  Can't afford it for sure, but it's a necessity..... :-)

What day/time is good for you? Saturday I work until 12:30pm, and Sunday I'm off all day.

As far as I know Sunday is good. Just let me know about what time you are thinking about coming over. Remember I am on my second week of my quit so please be gentle with me.

I doubt your computer is the worst I have ever seen. I have come close to refusing to work on some computers that where just so damn old they belonged in a museum!

I am not using anything really except diazepam and straws to chew on. I feel annoyed a lot because at times Shawn can be a pain in the ass. Then when I don't like it he tells me I am being rude for trying to ignore him or not want to get sucked into his BS when I am working on something and give short responses. It's a dysfunctional behavior he does a lot when he wants attention or does not like something.

I suppose I can do 10am. I was hoping around noon but that's OK. We usually do breakfast at Green's and they don't open until 9am so we would not have time for that. Depending on your computer's needs I don't know how long it will take me. It could be 30 minutes or less to and hour or more. It will be finished Sunday for sure unless it's something critical like the CPU or Motherboard. So I want to make sure I have eaten before I work on it.

Do not delay!!!!!!!!!!!! Last autumn my old computer was doing the same thing, freezing up or blue-screening more and more often. Right, I thought, I'll get a new one after Christmas - but it died altogether before Christmas, taking everything with it. Back up everything you care about and buy a new one, pronto.
