We have a cattle dog (aka a blue heeler) and they have such sweet personalities. But they need exercise!! Cliff does agility courses with Emma. We even have one set up behind the barn.
Hahaha - yeah, I got that. I emailed the owner for more info. She keeps him in an apartment..... duh. She thinks she may have a home, but she will let me know if they don't follow through or if she doesn't think they'll do. She's okay with me "hosting" him for a week to see how he gets along with chickens, sheep, cats, and other neighbor dogs. We'll see. I'm big on letting things manifest - if it's meant to be it will happen. :-)
Then I wish the best for both of you! I absolutely love cow dogs, and my sweetie has a thing for boxers. I think he is very beautiful, and I love the pics with the kitten.
I dunno. Boxers are sweet, but cattle dogs? I dunno (much as I love them). Escape artist with severe separation anxiety? I think you would have to be home all the time for him and have lots of work for him to do to keep him occupied.
