I just kind of herd them in the general direction of where I want them to go. Sometimes I throw something they like where I want them to go.

Well yesterday we all just stayed out in the back until dusk. I was in the back pasture mowing - and they wandered around. By the time I was done working - they were heading in to roost. If I needed them back in I probably would get some scratch feed and/or melon and call them into the yard using it - they like food.... :-)
