* SKorean firm delivers first commercial dog clones Aside from the fact that Pitbulls are not high on my list of dog breeds..... do we really need to CLONE them?? or any dog for that matter. In addition - the original dog died of cancer..... don't the cancer genes get cloned along with the bark and wag tail genes? I don't like it - I don't.
* I had a customer today who had MARSVENUS (no hyphen or space) as her first name. I wanted very badly to ask her the background story, but I'm a professional.... :-)
* I paid off my Visa Bill this month for the first time in about 6 months. Let's see if I can keep it paid off every month going forward. Having the truck paid off helps, but now I have to get back into conserve mode so I can get my emergency fund established. I hate money - I wish I was independently wealthy, so I wouldn't have to deal with it (seriously).
I've heard of people cloning their pets so that they can get their pet back when it dies but my thing always is...is personality clonable? Will it really be exactly the same in every way? I doubt it.
Oh I would have asked but then I'm very loosely professional. See...I think you could politely ask while flattering at the same time ("That's a lovely and unique name - what is the story behind that, if you don't mind me asking?") and still be professional. UNprofessional would be, "that's the weirdest name ever. How'd you end up with that?" :D Personally, she probably doesn't mind questions or she'd have changed it.
I say the exact same thign about money all the time. I want just enough to not have to think about it ever.
When I made over 70k a year I lived almost exactly like I do now, but it was sooooo nice not to have to stress.
I wanted to ask her if her parents were children of the sixties, but I wasn't sure about her (if she'd take offense). Some people I will ask personal things about - it depends. Especially if they have a business I am interested in I'll ask if they have a website etc. They listen to our calls, and they'd rather we didn't - - and they pay me, so .... :-)
