Butting into your conversation about pigs, apparently I used to have a pet pig when I was one year old. I don't remember this, though.

A friend of my two eldest sons had a pet pig but he grew up into a boar...and I don't think he is pretty :) Although quite tame, you have to be careful, because he can charge, apparently :) As far as I know he is still alive :) He is not as big as an ordinary boar, but not tiny, either. He is much bigger than I thought a miniature pig would grow. He is black, by the way, and has a ridgeback and tusks :)

Ah yes, the possibility of being trampled by your pet is definitely something to consider in the decision making process.... :-)
