I was thinking about it and I bet they'd eat table scraps and garden stuff... then the chickens would lose out on all the goodies from our leftovers, tho'. I bet one restaurant saving their scraps would be enough to feed a little one. I'm going to do some reading... wonder if they need a heated place to live in our kind of winters? ANd where you find those miniatures. SOOOOO cute.. I've always loved pigs!

They are advertised in Craigslist all the time here, and the feed store had them this spring. So cute!! I hear they make great pets too (honest).

I remember getting a whole new respect for pigs in general after reading stuff by Steven M. Wise.

Jack lived with a pot-bellied pig and said she was so smart. They liken them to a 4 or 5 year old child.. smarter by far than dogs! And her tummy would drag on the ground during acorn season.. hahahaha
