I remember the first time I saw them camping in South Dakota. I was mesmerized and stayed out all night, mostly awake just to watch them... amazing and had a kind of an eerie quality actually...
I have a previous model of that same dehydrator. I bought it about 12 years ago, and it's purring along just fine. It is a good dehydrator - the company makes a good product.
I'm saving now for an Excalibur (http://www.excaliburdehydrator.com/) only because it is larger, has a timer which will shut it off afer x amount of hours, the model I want has temperature control (it's a bonus to dry herbs at a different temp than you would something wet like tomatoes).
Let me know what time is good for you. I might make a day of SA and also check out the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit at the Witte (http://www.wittemuseum.org/exhibits/Da%20Vinci%201.html).

It will be my first one so I know nothing about them.
Are you still good for Wed. for the movies? So far it's still good for me. I saw Hell Boy the other day and liked it.
