Austin Celtic Center Website
Jul. 9th, 2008 10:00 amThis is a series I'm starting to document (as I find them) things I might like to do in my area. Hoping I can quick reference it via the GoSeeDo Tag. Someone might remember my bucket list which I haven't done much on (need to dig that back up). Gotta get back to getting out. I have a couple of man friends I'm keeping company with (and one I'll eventually actually meet and go do something with), and my cousin Mellie - so I have no excuse not to go and do things socially.

This site lists events etc. I found it as I was listening to Mark Gunn's first Irish and Celtic Music Podcast via ITunes. Lo and behold he mentions Austin - I was surprised to learn it originates just up the road from me.
Oh yes, if you are a celtic music fan here is a good site related to the podcast as well

Date: 2008-07-10 09:20 am (UTC)Heh, I doubt that he is into Celtic music, but he is into Celtic designed rings, lots of other things Celtic and plans on buying a whole lot of Crossbows and Catapult games. He already has a lot of knick knacks from Medieval Fayres, Folk Festivals etc. He has performed in sword fighting at one (at the tender age of eight, or something). I was there, performing with my drum, too :) It is not a Bodhran, though.
