Bye Bye Birdies

 *  I watched ATONEMENT last night.  Now I know what all the fuss was about.  Excellent all around and one of the hottest love scenes with two people fully dressed in dinner attire I've ever seen.

Here are pictures of the last day/evening with the chickens as a group (Friday)





I now have 9 chickens.

Saturday a nice lady (Jackie) and her son (oops - forgot his name) came and picked up 12 (it was supposed to be 13 or 14 - but I think we lost count).  They are experienced chicken people - her son even teaches other kids how to raise them.  I feel confident they'll have good homes.  Funny, I left my camera out - and I mentioned pictures a couple of times when they were over - but I let them leave without getting a picture (duh).  The son gave me a good idea about modifying my coop which I'll do my next time off.

Sunday Christopher (or was it just Chris) came by and picked up six.  Nice guy - he's from Austin.  His homemade portable carrier was pretty cool - it must be nice to have skills.  I did remember to take a picture this time.

* Sunday night I was feeling weirdly depressed.  I'm sure it was all about  being 18 chickens short.  I prepared the cure - edible Prozac...
