A Reason to Love Texas

At least my part of Texas.  Rosemary practically grows wild here.  You can find it on the side of the road - and, in this case, the Barnes & Noble parking lot.  Seriously, it's everywhere.  Here, as a bonus, it's in bloom.

The world is your herb garden.

WOW! I love Rosemary and use it a lot in cooking- especially chicken.

Is this the SAME Rosemary that is used in cooking?

Have a good day.

I don't like the taste of rosemary, but I love the way it smells. I have a pot of it on my back deck.

Hey, I was named for Rosemary. I only use the Rose part now, but my name is officially Rosemaary Lynn. Oh, by the way, you posted this at 11:11. Are you familiar with the phenomenom? I have 11:11 posted as an interest of mine. You should google it.

I love Rosemary as a name. It isn't used enough anymore.

Have you ever used the rosemary stems as skewers? I've put chicken on them, but lots of veggies would work too.

P.S. different subject - do you make compost tea? I have a burlap bag (rice came in it) that is a nice size, with a zipper and handles. I hate to throw it away. I understand burlap makes a great bag for making compost tea. I'll sent it to you if you want it.

I've never done that, never even thought of it - but I bet it's awesome!!

I do make compost tea, and I'd love to have the bag! If you send it, I'll send back whatever the postage was (or if you have a paypal account I can credit that). I'll email you my address. Thanks!

I found two of them for you! I will not take your money, don't be silly. I imagine I will get to the post office Friday or Saturday.
