Bockbuster Cust Service

I got my next DVD from Blockbuster yesterday.  1 Day Turnaround!  Only problem was the disk inside was Catch & Release not the one they were supposed to send Office Space season 1.  Below is the email I sent to them - and the response I got:

I received a dvd today which was very fast service. The only problem was the disk inside was Catch & Release not Office Space Season 1. The envelope said Office Space - the correct movie. Since I'd already seen that movie (and it was good) - it was a bit of a letdown.

I turned the envelope in at my local Blockbuster this morning.

Does this sort of thing happen often?

Thank you,

Hello Dorothea,

Thanks for contacting BLOCKBUSTER Online Customer Care.

I've reported the problem on your behalf and have arranged for the DVD to be resent. If this happens again, you can report it online by logging in to your account, and on the top of the web page, click on the "My Queue" link. You will see links that read "Report Problem" to the right of each of your shipped movies. Report the issue as "I received the wrong disc or DVD" and select "Resend The Same Movie" so we can send you another copy as soon as possible. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

For the inconvenience you may have experienced, please accept this additional e-coupon for a free in-store movie or game rental at your local Blockbuster store. Click on the link below to print your coupon.

So, for my trouble, I get my original movie sent out along with my next movie (Albert Schweitzer documentary), AND a coupon for an additional movie.  Very nice.

I have Netflix. I've never had that happen, but I did get a broken disc once. I reported it online just to make sure they didn't think I was the one who broke it. I'm paranoid that way. LOL!

I rented Jaws on video years ago and left it on the dashboard of my car - needless to say it was pretty melted. I paid for the movie, and let the store keep it to display to customers (reminding them not to leave videos in the car) hahaha
