My riding mower has a crooked deck, so I usually create what I refer to as crop circles (something that annoys one of my neighbors very much). In an attempt to be less random.... I tried to create a grid this time (semi-successful) ....

I love to annoy my neighbors! I wonder if I lowered the wheels on one side of the mower I could get that effect.

You have a huge lawn!

My initial thought is what the hell difference does your neighbor have to do with it. Neighbors ought to mind their own business and keep their damn noses inside.

As for your pattern, it looks good to me.

Have a good day.

I like it - I think crop circles are cool too. You could work out a pattern that says "bug off" to the offending neighbor!

Or... on their side of the fence line grow 6 or 8 feet of weeds for their enjoyment.

That's the 3rd fouth of my property. I divide it up like this:
1.) Big Front Yard (too many tree and lots of squirrels)
2.) Fenced Back Yard (where the dogs live)
3.) Garden, fruit trees, compost bins and pointless expanse of grass (I'm thinking of setting up a v-ball court....haha)
4.) Back pasture (whre the cow lives)

It seems like a lot when mowing, but it's really only 1.67 acres.

You have a cow? Now I am really jealous.

I don't own her - she squats.... my neighbor owns her.

When I first viewed the house before I bought it I saw her and my realtor explained that the owner lets her stay in the pasture part of the year. The next question for me was "are they planning on eating her?" -when I was assured she was a pet, I agreed to let her stay as long as she wanted. (enough bad karma to work off - housing an animal destined to be slaughtered would not help my cause)

She is very cool, I like her a lot. You can see her in the distance in that pic.

Lawn sculpture; if they can sculpt hair, why not the grass? you're just ahead of the curve.

Cow's name? and get better pics of Bossy.

I call her "Buddy" as in "hey buddy". I think she actually has a name, but I don't know what it is. I've posted one or two since I started my journal; I'll take some more this weekend. She's not camera shy.
