Getting in The Christmas Spirit

Put the tree up last night - got the lights on it. Went through the boxes of Christmas "stuff". I have enough gift bags, paper, and supplies to wrap all the presents in New Braunfels (thanks to my inability to resist after-christmas sales).

This year I vowed to make my ornaments by hand. I am making salt dough ornaments. I cut them out and baked them this morning. Sunday I will enlist Sierra's help and paint them.

Oh, it's freaking cold here. 35F this morning outside (53F in the bedroom when we woke up). Forecast says it may SNOW in San Antonio tomorrow!! (I'll believe it when I see it - and, if I do, I'll get pictures!)

Those are so cute! I remember doing those with my kids. I have tons of paper, too! and considering I'm hardly doing Christmas at all this year, it will sit for a long time! My daughter won't be here this year, first time ever, Jack's kind of a bah humbug-er and so I'm just not doing the holiday much. You have fun!

Wow! salt dough, it's been awhile since i thought of that. Are you going to paint and glitter them?

I want pictures of San Antonio snow!

Well, I cleared a space and put the tree up. Next was wrapping the presents, but with Gryo getting sick, this will probably be delayed :( (I am more sorry for Gyro than myself.)

Great cut outs! They really look edible :)

I can't believe the cold weather you're getting.
