dalthauserI'm in the middle of a 10 day stretch of seeing hubby. Started Tuesday evening and will end next Thursday morning. I am in heaven. He left this morning, and Friday I drive down to spend the long weekend with him. I do home Tuesday morning, and he drives up Tuesday evening - we're just Wild & Crazy that way :-)
My computer is on the fritz. Might be the power supply - or else the motherboard - unless it's the hard drive. Having a pc connected to the internet is not optional for me. Marcel is going to give me an extra PC he has at his house, and I will need to figure out how to configure the internet router thingie to it. Once back in business I can figure out how to get the stuff from the hard drive of the non-working pc - onto the hard drive of the working PC. My brain already hurts.
This week we ordered Muscadine Grapes and 4 varieties of Potatoes (3 of them Fingerlings) - we're gonna be rockin' in the garden this winter!!!! We are currently looking for the Peach variety we bought this summer so we can plant one of those trees out by the new Chicken Compound (which is under construction).
Omg - life is good ;-)
........the one sour note.... there are members of my family...I won't mention names..... who, it turns out, appear to be rabid conservatives (you know the type - the one's who send out chain emails with anti-obama cartoons and anti-Ted Kennedy emails post-mortum)
All I can say is, Thank the Universe my mind moved in a different direction - and I'm not stuck stewing in my own hatred over all things that might benefit my fellow man. Seriously..... ;-)
