$$$$ TIRES $$$$

dalthauserYesterday I went to Discount Tire Co. and had them take a look at my tires. They said all needed to be replaced (no surprise there). Two hours and $770.00 later I have new Michelin LTX tires (complete with all the extra charges for lifetime repairs and balancing). OMG - I was in sticker shock. Had no idea I'd be paying so much. The only thing keeping me from freaking out is that there isn't a choice - another blowout could have cost me that much. Plus I feel confident I went to the right place since my friend time_on_fire and my husband gets their tires there.
Tonight after work I drive down south to stay with Marcel until Monday morning. I have no plans other than taking my friend Karin & her husband out to Dinner at Marcel's restaurant (can you believe this will be the first time I've eaten there!?). Oh, and I also am going to cook some things for him & his family.
I have a feeling the time is going to crawl along until 9pm.
