Life is Damn Good :-)
May. 15th, 2009 10:26 amThis morning I walked without my mp3 player and enjoyed the music the birds were making.
I got home and watered the garden - talked a little bit to the tomatoes to encourage them to ripen, and walked a water can over to Marcel's Sage & Rosemary back by the compost bin (I promised him I wouldn't let them die)
I harvested ripe blackberries, throwing the bird nibbled ones over the fence to the chickens.
I fed the chickens and gave them water - then gathered their eggs and brought them inside.
I made breakfast then sat down to read the email my husband sent to me late last night after he got home from work.
I leaned back in my chair and sighed - trying to remember a time when I felt as happy as I did at that moment.
(Then the spell was broken when I looked at the clock and realized I had 10 minutes to get ready for work)
