Routine Update

* Garden is doing splendidly.  I picked a couple pints of blackberries this morning.  The pole beans are beginning to climb - and I'm not eating peppers.  I HAVE A ZUCCHINI (tiny thumb size, but it's there!!).  What is is about a flourishing garden that just makes the heart swell - I feel like I'm in heaven when I spend time there.

*  I'm doing my own Alfalfa sprouts now.  I'm making it in a quart mason jar with a screen lid I rigged up.  It's nice to add them to salads - and any I don't get to the chickens gladly take off my hands.

* My cousin Melanie is going to marry us at her little church cubby.  She is assistant minister at Austin Center for Religious Science (it's an off-shoot of the Christian Science Church).  She will drench us in good vibes - I'm overjoyed she's putting her John Hancock on my marriage license.  Marcel said at least two of his children will come.  I'm thrilled - though I admit a little anxiety ridden since my house is so ghetto (hopefully Marcel will warn them and ask them to be kind) :-)   It will be Wednesday 13th at 8pm. 

This weekend I am going to be a total basket case cleaning and organizing.  I need to buy an inflatible mattress and quickly turn my junk room Tatami Room into a guest room.  Yikes!!! Stress!!!! lol
