Dear LJ

*  Looks like my whole family is now on Facebook.  The only holdout my sister Zoe (if you're reading this.....get your act together sis) :-)

*  I watched Obama's press conference on TV this morning.  I'm happy to see that it looks like he's not going to be glossing over the financial issue like the past administration did.  I understand why he's not going into detail, but it is frustrating not to know just what he's going to do.

*  Since the majority of my LJ friends have opened an IJ (Insane Journal) account - I (being the lamb that I am) opened one as well.  My username there will be Jzero (yes, yes - in honor of the Cat Stevens song..... haha).  If LJ ever goes bellyup I'll  move there - until then I'm going to use that site for my 101 project tracking.  That way I'm not annoying my LJ friends with all those updates.

*  I had the nicest email yesterday from a couple in California who wanted me to know how much they enjoyed my Japan albums on Webshots - those albums get lots of hits since I posted them in 2003/2004, but I never got an actual email.  Makes me feel good to know someone liked them.  enough to contact me.

*  I'm one chapter into The Elegant Universe.  I need to pick up my speed or I will not finish the book this month.  It's not an easy read, and I really want to understand - so I refuse to gloss over the hard parts (especially since it's all hard parts.....)
