This & That
Nov. 12th, 2008 10:57 amI have been walking everyday and posting my minutes on Twitter. Thing is Twitter isn't posting a daily post to LJ like the application I signed up for promised. (edit: duh, I just looked and it posted yesterdays)
This morning I walked the Big Hook (1 hour and 17minutes).
I let Sierra slide on her walk since she is painting her room today (Dog help us all - especially the carpet). She is painting one wall electric green. I could not talk her out of it.
Today at some point I am hoping to make a road trip to town and make some doc appts (dermatologist and mamogram people). I'd planned to sit with my banker about a personal loan for Sierra's car, but I am not ready to deal with that.
I bought a $767.00 bed the other day. A purchase like that is huge for me, but I wanted a good quality bed - I'd never really had one before. This one is just a Serta Double - but it's good quality not the cheapo one's against the wall. I got a 12 month no interest financing for it. Thing is the bed isn't for me to sleep on - it's for Sierra; however, when and if she ever moves out - it will then be my bed :-)
And finally............ Today is my official Two Year Anniversary of quitting smoking.
At Quitnet I was given the Golden Boot Award. I never go to Quitnet anymore - I just pop in to print out my certificate every 6 months. :-)
