I would have liked to post pictures, but all the batteries are dead and I couldn't find a charger this morning. I bought a new charger today, so sometime tomorrow the old charger will show up.

I bought a new coffee today: It's a Mexican brand: Cafe Garat It's a lighter roast - not great but not too bad either.

Clipped the chickens' wings today - omg, always such a traumatic experience for everyone. I was going to delay the task again, but when I came back from the store all 9 were happily scratching around the front yard - yikes. So, everyone is taken care of - and I'm only a little worse for wear. Right now my left hip and right shoulder are feeling not so great.

I'm back to tamale making - this time for a work potluck happening on Tuesday. I have to do it tonight because Monday I'm working overtime, and I won't have time. I feel like an old pro now. I'd like to experiment with different coatings and fillings in the future. This time it was traditional bean/rice filling.

This was a very restful and pleasant weekend which is a nice change from the ending of this past week - PMS hell.. I wonder if I will go through the same mood swings after I stop having my cycle. I really hope so not.
