I'll put these behind a cut for 2 weeks - then I'm un-cutting them :-)

Getting ready to mow the little back pasture

Over an hour later - the last little scrap of grass to mow!

I burn limbs and stuff in this because I'm terrified of an open fire.  I guess it's about time for a new one though.

Someday I'm going to get around to painting this and making it into a planter.

That was a perfect day - I try and have as many of those as possible.

That looks great, what do you have (if you don't mind me asking!) 3 or 4 acres? You run a tight ship there.

What color would you paint it?

It's narrow - only 1.75 acres. I wish I had more.

I want to paint a stained glass type of design. Something like this:

What a peacefull day. I'm wondering why you don't have anything grazing on all that pasture!

You used to have something on your lj like Trekker or something like that. What was that? It basically stated what you were doing at that moment.

That last picture is so nice.

Thanks for a look at your place.

Lol! You do need a new burner :)

Your planter is going to look very good. I like your proposed pattern!

That would be so cute. I miss having land to work with. You're very fortunate. Beautiful place.

I grew up on a farm and we always burned in a barrel too. Your photos make me nostalgic.

Great property! It looks so peaceful.

It's Twitter. I accidently deleted the code when I put my Amazon.com wishlist up (I do that during the holidays so my family won't get me slipper socks). I'll have to find the code again for my account and get it back up.

Are you in the way of the storm? Hope you stay safe.

Excellent. I can't wait to see the painted toilet - I mean planter. :)

Chickens are looking fine.

You live in such a sweet place! I had no idea you have so much space there... You have some fortunate chickens!

Are you ok as far as this new storm coming? I've heard it's moving further north than some.

Forgot to answer part of your reply. I'd like to have two things back there at some point. Honey bees and maybe goats. I'm not ready though. Each year I add something and learn to care for it - garden one year, fig & pomagranites another, berries another, chickens this year...... :-)

Okay, but it has to be uplifting and beautiful (no blood, gore, or animal skeletons) :-)

My area should be okay. It's Galveston and Houston who will really get it bad.
