Today I finally got the entire vegetable garden irrigation system finished. Yay. It's great except for a couple of things. One of the dripper connection is too big and it's releasing too much water. Tried plugging it with a goof plug, but it still sprays. Might have to splice. Also the dripper lines suck. Some holes release some don't - no good. Might replace them with something else and just chaulk up the expense ($27) to learning.
Asparagus (yard long) beans are officially producing. They are yummy too! Plenty to go around, so I'll be sharing with co-workers when I go back to work.
I pulled up the cucumber vines today. They are spent, and it's time for them to go onto their next life in the compost bin. They did a great job, and I'll be planting the next generation next month for fall harvest.
Still burning up the limbs and brush piled under the big tree. It'll be several weeks I think before it's all burned. I'm putting the ashes in the compost bin.
